The village of Castleconnell is situated on the river Shannon. The 23 holiday homes are situated within the estate of the Castle Oaks House Hotel.

Castleconnell is an ideal base for touring the south and Mid West Region.

The village has many pubs and restaurants and is a very popular venue for fishing.
